Living in sunny FL, I can't believe that RVers are not protecting their radiator from the Love Bugs that swarm here in the Spring & again in the Fall. They will totally cover the front of your vehicle when they are swarming. You are correct that a hose will remove most of the normal bugs from the front of an RV, but Love Bugs are another story.
