OP, did you buy the 2016 Thor Tuscany XTE 40 BX? Your two roof airs should have kept you cool without the dash air even being on. You need to buy a IR temp gun (Harbor Freight $15 on sale) and start taking temp measurements to justify the warranty work you need. The 20 degree difference on the roof units is at a outlet near the unit and on the grill/filter intake.
My dash air by itself will do the job when it's 95 out, but not into the sun so I'll run one roof AC. Shooting the IR gun into the dash air vents you should get readings in the 50s. Often the heater valve does not shut off completely so find that valve above the generator on the firewall and see what the temp is 12" either side of it, not right at the valve on the outlet side. Doubt you will find a 100 degree difference but I would not want more than 10 degrees above the outside air temp after the valve. The best long term solution is to put a manual valve in series with the OEM one which you close in the summer.
The more facts you have when you take it in, the better your chance of getting it fixed the first time. Unfortunately your front roof AC is probably only a 13K unit, not a 15K. Good Luck and welcome to the new MH blues.
Yes 2016 Tuscany 40BX... I checked the dash AC last night with a thermometer which was 79.6 degrees and the roof tops at 53 degrees. So I either need more freon or ???
