Anyone flat towing a Corvette?
I'm considering replacing my current towd, an '06 Miata, with a c5 vete. It would be a stick so I'm thinking that it could be towed but don't know if there is a base plate for it . . I'm looking ...

According to the C5 and C6 Owners Manual
"" There are two type of recreational vehicle towing are know as "dinghy" towing where all 4 wheels are on the ground. And "Dolly towing with two wheels on the ground and two wheels up on a device known as a "Dolly"
"" Your vehicle was not designed to be towed with any of it's wheels on the ground! ""
As I have a 2007 C6 Corvette, it would be all but impossible to tow as the frontal ground clearance is less than 5" from the ground! To get to the frame, would require cutting several slots in the front bumper to reach the frame (and would be extremely ugly)and you would be looking at spending several thousand $$$ to custom make an attachment plate!
