We bought our 2004 Ford E350 Canadian 20 foot class C former rental in 2008. It has been very reliable. In 2020, I found a local repair shop, owner a mechanic with a great reputation and got them to change the spark plugs, transmission fluid, etc, replace all shock absorbers, change gear oil in the rear end, and change coolant. Wonder of wonder there was no problem with the spark plugs and the owner mechanic knew it in advance. It cost $2500 all told.
We have one problem I would like help with. We had never used an RV when we bought the MH and knew nothing about the hot water heater. It got turned on while plugged in to electric power and the switch smoked and smelled. In the next 13 years we never had water in the heater. Looking into the tank it looks rusty.
I would like to upgrade to a new water heater.
Anyone know if it would be possible? Estimate of cost to have it done at an RV dealership?
