That is the first for me with the coffee can and it makes sense to ensure condensation doesn't go back into any of the cylinders, at least the ones with the exhaust valves open. Being from cold country I've learned my lesson and add both an anti gel and biocide and let it sit. Additionally with all the cracked manifolds on the isc no need to stress it with large temperature changes with periodic startups in the middle of winter. It's the fuel which has caused most if not all of the issues I've had in the spring and since I've used the additives I have had no spring issues.
