I think a couple of you came up with the correct explanation, even though I don't like it. He had CoachNet on the previous MH. He trades it in for a new Motorhome from Camping World which is supposed to come with Good Sam coverage. CoachNet knows this. Therefore they tell my dad he has to use Good Sam. Of course, Good Sam could say you had CoachNet first, so call them first.
My own experience with CoachNet several years ago when an injector failed on my 2009 Phaeton was good. They sent a tow truck and towed me pretty far to the Cummins repair center. I just don't know if I want to renew with them after the way they treated my dad, but wonder if Good Sam is any better. And if you are buying a motorhome from Camping World and have CoachNet, you might as well call them and cancel the policy and see if they will give you some of your money back, because they won't cover you.
