GOT IT!! Due only to the assistance from the members on this board. :)
I was puzzled yesterday after the suggestion was made to check the fuses on the control module as I could not find a control module. The picture below shows the outside of the firewall, and it has three fuses related to the leveling system. It all resides in large plastic box.
Second picture is the control box I found after I removed a floor trim panel, reached up under the dash area and pulled what appeared to be a metal box after turning it around whereby the fuses could be seen! The schematics told me, you all told me, but I could not locate the box even after looking up in there with a flashlight. The system began working as soon as I pulled the unit out of it's hiding place. So I'll clean it all up and hopefully it won't reoccur.
