Just finished reading through the posts. I have a 2000 PAV which I live in full time, but don't run it on the road very long. I love it much better than my 1979 Pace Arrow. Slides and 10 more feet sure make a difference.
In answer to the solar panel led issue. One thing I didn't see mentioned is to check the fuse. On the 2000 it's in one of the fuse panels under the hood and plainly marked. If that fuse is good and the led is still off, then I'd look at the led. Hope that helps.
As to the levelers, I suspect that mine is losing pressure or the fluid level is too low, as if I don't adjust them once a week, the rear passenger leveler will start 'popping' as I move around. Pretty loud, and just rolling over in bed can cause the leveler to pop and you can feel the coach move when it happens.
Anyone else have this issue in any model? Was the fix the fluid level? I know the springs are all good. What type of fluid is used in the leveler systeM?
