Mixing oil types (5w-20 mixed with 10w-30)
My RV has the ford v-10 in it and I noticed today the oil is closer to the "low" level than the "full" level on the dip stick. I have a few quarts of 10w-30 (might be 5w-30) but I was going to top it ...

If it was me . . . and it is still between the low and the high mark on the dipstick and you are planning to change it soon I wouldn't bother adding any. A 3-4 hour trip (especially at this time of year) isn't going to effect the oil level in any substantial way.
Many (or most) owners manuals (Fords included) will tell you that as long as your oil is between the min and the max marks that you are fine and that you only need to add oil when the oil level is at or below the MIN mark.
