Mixing oil types (5w-20 mixed with 10w-30)
My RV has the ford v-10 in it and I noticed today the oil is closer to the "low" level than the "full" level on the dip stick. I have a few quarts of 10w-30 (might be 5w-30) but I was going to top it ...

ah . . . unless you are BELOW the MIN mark I wouldn't be adding a whole Quart. On most cars the distance between the low and high mark on the dipstick is a Quart. Overfilling your engine with Oil is waaayyyyyy worse than being slightly low.
