In Michigan, My brother in law's Thor class c lost its propane tank which fell down and got caught under the differential. He dragged it off the interstate and had to find big rocks to drive onto to get the RV high enough to pull it out. It ground down the raised circular ridge around the original bung hole in it. We went to Menards, bought 15 feet of propane hose and fittings, ratchet straps and secured it in the tow bar carrier. He used it that way to Colorado back to Florida.
