The RVIA sticker is placed on a unit to show that the manufacturer of that unit built that unit to a set of standards put in place by the RVIA, using ANSI and NEC codes for the safety of the end user. The RVIA has inspectors that tour a production plant several times a year, unannounced, to check things on the production line. If a production plant has too many non-compliances, the right to put stickers on can be removed.
