I feel your pain. Just had mine redone along with the roof side rails. Last three years I put the old paint to a real test. Facing blazing desert sun all winter and facing southwest into the Pacific ocean in summer. Paint shop was Crown RV in Palm Desert. Said they see a lot. It is a clear coat thing. I was going to hire a guy who would do it in my sight but could never locate him. Everybody said go to Puerto Penasco where there are lots who do it in place. I ended up doing the professional paint booth route. They did a super job, plus resealed the roof.
