Most of the time it is the filters but sometimes the screen in the faucet outlet is the problem. Monaco also designed a separate ultra-violet treated system that fed a faucet on your sink for sanitizing you cups, countertops, etc. This was available as an option as was the insta-hot system. Most of the 10" filters handle 3 -4 gals. per minute flow with some down to 1 - 2 gals per min. I have never had a water flow problem on my 05 system unless the filters were clogged.
The filter element is an Everpure EV959206 and it states right on the label that the flow rate is .5 GPM. I measured the flow from the kitchen faucet BEFORE making the changes and it was about .5 GPM.
