knb53 Roadtrek started using the 3500 Chevy Express chassis in 2002 about the same time that Dodge was discontinuing producing the current Dodge van. You are correct, many recent Roadtrek owners will tell you that recently built RT's are not up to the standards of those built in the early 2000's, or even the late 1990's. I know two individuals that were driving 1990's Roadtreks, one a Chevy and the other a Dodge, both RT's had over 250,000 miles on them.
