Thanks for this...
I looked at a 2003 Pleasure-Way Excel TS yesterday... spent some time in it, drove it, etc. Pretty nice unit. I think I could live comfortably in the space except for one thing: storage. It's not that I'm a pack rat, but if I'm going to be on the road for a couple or three months at a time, I'd like to bring my guitar, a small telescope outfit I have that fits into a carry-on suitcase, and a little bit of fly-fishing equipment. I'm having a hard time figuring out how to do that plus carry the normal stuff one needs for daily living, such as a modicum of kitchen equipment, etc.
Someone suggested that I should look at Phoenix Cruisers... and I've been doing some searches on them. I'm pretty impressed. I'm supposing that the mpg would suffer quite a bit moving up to that, because of shape, size, weight, etc. And not quite as "stealthy." I haven't found any in my area to look at, but does anyone have comments re. the increase in storage area with a 21 foot P.C., or even the 23.5? I really don't think I want to go any bigger than that. The whole reason I've been looking at Class B's is that I want to have a smaller footprint driving through little towns, to out of the way places, etc. So I'm trying to find the "sweet spot" for my needs.
Daunting...
