Thanks for this... and good points about using soft containers, like bags, packing cubes, etc., for clothes. Part of my concern re. too much compactness is that I really may be out in this thing for a couple months at a time... I'm wondering how much this changes the rubric re. how much space one needs... for both amenities and sanity. I want to do this in the smallest way that I can also feel comfortable with...
The good news is that I have 12 weeks until I retire... although I'd like to take advantage of winter pricing and buy long before April 1st. (btw, just as a funny aside: I had to give my partner a year's notice re. my retirement... so I was going to tell him April 1st, 2015... but then figured he'd think it was an April Fool's joke, so I told him on April 2nd. J).
