A friend of mine had an ongoing "Caddy Shack" war going on with squirrels eating up his under-hood wiring on his Ford chassis. I guess the wiring insulation is squirrel crack now.
After paying out $500 deductibles TWICE for squirrel damage, he found a couple electronic traps and has killed over a dozen squirrels. So far, no more chewed up wires.
