Thanks John&Joey, I have struck the DP option from my list and am now searching for a late 90's or early 2000's gasser. I was under the false impression that gas powered RV engines would not last longer that 50 to 70k, but it seems I was incorrect. I do believe the fuel economy is worse in a gas rig, but I am not planning to drive it all over the US, only staying two weeks in a place and moving 100-200 miles for another two week stay. We would love to boon dock on public land as well, so I am looking to keep the length reasonable. The nice thing is that the gasser option opens up the slide option, so I can get a shorter RV and still have more room. Thanks!
