I'm a solo traveler, so my first RV was a Roadtrek 'B'. I didn't know how I was going to use it. Turns out that I'm more of a traveler than a camper. I tend to head for a destination and then stay for a week or two in a FHU campground and visit things in the area on a daily basis. So I traded for a 'C', pulling a toad. F/T bed, bathroom, dining table, couch and kitchen.
Nothing I couldn't do in a 'B', but I didn't enjoy switching the configuration back and forth and unplugging from the CG to go anyplace. Nothing wrong with the 'B', the 'C' just fit my needs better.
I also see that as a disadvantage to not pulling a toad. Constantly having to drive the rig everywhere when you want to stay in one place for a while. Do you hook and unhook the toad by yourself? How hard is that?
