Called NSA. I have located a dealer on my route home who's installed 100's of these in the past 16 years. He clearly understood my issue and says he knows exactly what causes it and that he has seen these faulty installs have the same effect in the past.
He described perfectly what occured.
So I am going to take the rig to him next week and have the install redone PROFESSIONALLY! And his costs are a fraction of what my RV shop charged initially.
I feel good that he has the knowledge and experience to not only do this right but to educate me on what to do to keep out of a pickle next time.
