I use one on our Jeep Grand Cherokee LTD. I pulled it to Co. and back to Ia. and was very satisfied with it. I did have to re-adjust the cable a couple times.

I am curious. Did you determine why the brake activation cable requied adjustment?

Hanko, did you do the install yourself? I have everything ready to install, just waiting for a good weekdend day to tackle the job. I bought their break away as well which i will need to install.

The cable typically needs some readjusting initially to take up the slack as the initial stretch is taken out of the cable and fittings. I installed a turnbuckle in our cable to make adjusting it quicker and easier, but after the first several hundred miles of towing I didn't need to touch it again until I installed the system on our second toad around 30,000 miles later. One or two adjustments then to dial it in, and it's been a couple of years without touching it on this toad. Just to be clear, the cable that gets readjusted is the short hook up cable from the hitch end to the toad loop, not the cable installed in the toad itself.
