We were pulling our 2013 Wrangler 4 door, and averaged 7.2 mpg in the hillier country, and a solid 7.5 mpg in the flatlands of the South.
I believe I could have done better than the above numbers. I was travelling between 65 and 70, instead of my normal 63 mph.
Pretty typical F-53 mileage. After 13,000 miles on a 2011 22K F-53 chassis my overall average was 7.0 when towing and 8.0 when not towing. I’m assuming my mileage will be similar on the 2014 24K F-53 that I have on order.
