Interesting. My MPG over 19,000 miles is 6.3 with every tank logged. My highs have been around 7.5 with lows in the low 5's Mostly towing, but not always. Generally we run in the mid 6 range.
Just did 5-star tune, will see what happens on the next trip.
One comment I noticed is that speed has little effect on MPG. I know that slowing to 55 did not have a significant effect. I do think that hitting hills with a bit more speed to avoid the downshift longer is probably the key. The 5-star is supposed to address this issue.
Will report back after next couple of trips.
