So how many do you think Full Time out there? Of those how many do you think do it in a Class A. Not saying no-one does, but definitely not enough to sustain the Class A industry.
Bad Class A mileage, and high fuel prices makes it harder and harder to justify the hobby when you're also on a household budget. Now if you spend days in a non moving Class A, or use it on short distance (under 100 miles) weekend family trips, then it makes $$$ sense based on current hotel rates.
For some the math simple does not add up anymore as a viable way of "C'ing da USA." When all you have is a week's vacation and you want to take in the sights 2,000 miles away, there are better ways.
