Rear leaf springs

Does this look right. This is the only RV I've crawled under so I have no frame of reference.

Starting from the back there is a slight downward curve that is really exaggerated towards the front. I'm used to springs curving up at both ends like on by PU Truck. These look like they've completely collapsed.

Hope I'm wrong,
Eric

  • I have a 2000 Jamboree 23b but on a Chevy. Mine is 25 foot as Chevy moved the engine forward about a foot to give the passenger and driver more foot room ect.

We looked at several Fords and they also had that spring sag down. I bothered me but did seem they all had it. Went with the Chevy because the springs are about 18 inches longer in front and go up on both ends. Several of my friends have added leafs to get rid of it.
  • They should look just like what you're used to seeing on a PU truck. Those suckers are shot.
