It would probably work, but the roads are so narrow passing another car requires concentration. There are tight switchbacks and at least one one lane bridge.
X2, this is not an RV friendly road. Much of it is very narrow and twisty. Take the toad. Lots of places to stop and look around, and a stop at the Gladie Visitor Center is worth while.
