Our Winnie #2 does NOT have a gravity fill, much to my chagrin AFTER purchasing. I have used the winterizing hose and have used a portable 12V attached to a water bladder. Both will work, just not very fast.
Grey water - You simply must cut back on usage. Paper plates, no running water to brush teeth, sponge bathes/infrequent Navy style showers(wet quickly, water off while you soap up, quickly rinse off. Water off ASAP!)Use the limited dish water created as flushing water for the toilet. Catch the cold water you get before getting hot water (for those Navy showers) in a plastic dish tub and use that water for the toilet. Use Baby wipes anywhere for quick mini cleanups. Only flush when absolutely necessary........ It is amazing how wasteful we are with water. It becomes precious stuff when boondocking.
We spend the winter on the desert on BLM land in Arizona and two of us can go 10-14 days before we have to go dump and pump with 55 gallons grey/50 gallons black/85 fresh. Lucky to have larger tanks. NO daily showers but "spot" baths and we do survive and do not stink!!.............much!;)
Good luck. It gets easier with practice and just becoming more aware of how to efficiently use the limited water you do have. Happy trails!!
