Me too. Like most.. - noe-placeExplorerLike he said, turn it on night before we leave; gas on the move, auto when plugged in and off once home.

I must be missing something. Aside from the potential safety hazard of running frig while under way, it seems that the driving terrain would result in the frig being out of level much of the time. Isn't that a problem? What are manufacturer recommendations about running frig while under way ?
It's generally not a problem as long as you keep moving.

- Mich_FExplorerMy fridge is always on auto. More often than not my generator is running while driving, so it's running on electric most of the time.
- SablukaExplorerThanks all. Answers my question.
Wonder if there is a delay for the pilot light to go off? Prob not more then a minute. I'll call a service place and ask them also.

Yes, and a note on how long the fridge stays cool if it's off; I accidentally turned mine off before a 2 hour trip. With temps around 70 degrees the fridge and its contents were noticeable warm when we arrived at the CG - that's how we found out it wasn't running.
So it does indeed warm up quickly.

Yup, this is NOT your home fridge. Warm temps outside=warm food inside an RV fridge turned off. - ScottGNomadYes, and a note on how long the fridge stays cool if it's off; I accidentally turned mine off before a 2 hour trip.
