When trying to AUTO from 120 to LP. The Refer will NOT show LP--- IF the refer is NOT in a cooling cycle. If the refer was OFF due to reaching temp, it will only show LP if the refer starts to cool after the Thermister calls for cooling. This is true for your scenario where you leave it plugged in until you are ready to leave. Doug
