Now it's the Refrigerator. I always plug it in to power a day or so before a trip. I noticed that the left side of the fins "right above the top shelf" were not frosting over like the rest of the fins...

If it has been accidentally moved on the fin it will change the temperature setting and make it to cold or never get cold.
This is for NON adjustable tstat refers. On adjustable tstat refers, the temp change by moving the Thermister will only vary about 2 degrees. Doug
