Our "complete how to find the right station" guide:
Go to: http://then.gasbuddy.com/
Put in a town when you would first be interested in refueling. For us that is just over 1/2 tank of fuel.
Click on "map". With that as a beginning point, scroll along the route you will be driving. You can cover 100 miles in 2 minutes. Locate potential stations based on price and proximity to your route (down to details like-- all things being equal, a station on your side of the road is better than having to cross traffic).
Click on a station. Copy the address and paste in:https://www.google.com/maps
Yes, if gas buddy gives the address as an address PLUS cross street, delete the cross street so you just search for the street address.
Use both "street view" and "overhead view" to see entrance/exit.
Sounds more complicated than it is. Said another way, with a tow, having to unhook once on a trip is more hassle than searching for those "easy" stations.
