If the factory is wiling to fix your issue count your blessings. Many do not.
Amen to that. We just got ours back from the factory after a year of Camping World's excuses. To be honest, I had no desire to drive it from NC to IN just to get it fixed, but I am glad we did.
I read many posts where the selling dealer will put you first for service etc. In reality it all depends on how that dealership is run. We bought from an independent that was bought by Camping World right after our purchase. We specifically chose them because they were not CW and had a great reputation (that I could find) and what a let down. We had a 2.5 hour drive every time we went there for service. If I added all those trips up they would far exceed the 15 hours to Indiana.
In hind sight, if I do this again, I will compile a list during the warranty period and make arrangements with the manufacturer to get it all fixed at once.
I do realize I did not answer your reimbursement question but you have a good idea of what many have gone through in getting rigs fixed correctly.
