I'd take it back to Winnebago and sit on their doorstep. Bug the heck out of them. They'll get you right in. When they say the slide water issue is fixed make them show you by a heavy stream of water from all directions aimed at it. I don't know about reimbursing you for your travel. You could try. The main thing is get it fixed and forget Camping World in the future.
After it's fixed make a nice siteseeing trip out of it and test it out before getting too far away.
Best of luck!!
This is not the time to go to Forest City and sit on the door step. This week Winnebago Industries is having their annual Grand National Rally. There are literally thousands of motorhomes in town and many of them have made appointments for service. During the week of GNR they will only perform a limited number of services on any one coach. The service bays are full from the time they open at 7:00 Am until the time they close.
The best course of action is to contact the service department by phone or e mail after the rally with a detailed list of things you want them to look at. You can also include information about the history of the problems and the attempted repairs.
They'll review with you the time expected to complete the repairs and schedule a time for you to arrive. When you arrive at the factory they'll discuss the problems, inspect the coach and give you a better time estimate for completion. In most cases you can stay in your coach. At the end of each day if possible it will be brought out of the service department and back to one of the campsites.
You can show up without an appointment, but don't expect immediate service. The service department schedules weeks and sometimes months ahead. Those who show up without an appointment are attended to on a first come first served basis after the scheduled appointments are completed. People who have made appointments are not willing to take a back seat for someone who just appeared at the door step.
As for reimbursing you for expenses don't expect it. Just like any other car or truck manufacturer their only responsibility is to repair the vehicle.
