- BobRExplorerPersonally, I would be more interested in getting repaired correctly than being reimbursed for expenses. I would schedule an appointment, have the work done and camp in the local area for a few days to make sure all is OK. Not worrying about when it will fail again is priceless in my book.
- wallynmExplorerIn our case our unit was a 1999 $100,000 gas rig and the manufacture picked it up as stated above.

Just like any other car or truck manufacturer their only responsibility is to repair the vehicle.
The difference is that with warranty work or a recall, no one that purchased a new auto or truck EVER had to take their vehicle back to the manufacturer.
The OP isn't required to take the coach to the manufacturer for service. They can take it to any authorized repair station that will accept it. Winnebago is putting forth the option (not the requirement) that the coach can be taken to the factory for service. - nma33ExplorerWow I was just called a liar in a private message but another forum member who claimed I did not get what I stated in the above posts, Kinda set me back a little. Frankly I don't need it, be back in the future. You all have a great summer camping season.
Nick - nma33ExplorerI had told Jayco I had plans prior to the RV being done, They even offered to bring it back to me for the weekend then pick it up. I declined that generous offer. (See my post above)

yep, in theory if you drop 2MM on a Prevost I am sure they'll accommodate you. Although I've heard they will send a guy to you to prevent that from occurring. Have to ask MM about that one since there is only a snowball's chance that I'll ever know personally. - crassterExplorer IIThere may be some of the elite manufacturers that will, especially if they think you'll smear their reputation. - nma33ExplorerI had to take my new 2015 Jayco 35UN from NJ to Indiana and then back, Jayco paid for everything, including the hotel stay prior to dropping off, and prior to picking up, all tolls, fuel, they even offered to compensate for meals, That I couldn't do, I would be eating no mater what! They even through in a generator service and an oil change. I dropped the coach off 2/16 and picked her pack up in perfect shape 5/16. I cannot say enough about Jayco's customer service. I will not get into everything they did but I can tell you they went way above and beyond all of my expectations.
Good luck with your coach.
