Reliable place to ge tmy RV worked on in Las Vegas/Henderson

Hi, I am new to the forum and sort of new to the RV world.
We live in Henderson/Las Vegas in the winter and Northern Canada in the summer.
We just purchased a 2007 Monaco Executive 44 footer, the previous owner took immaculate care of it but there are a few things that some maintenance.
I dont really know where to take it to get some things fixed/looked at. I am wondering if any one out there can suggest a good place. Findlay RV?? Camping World, as i discovered, cant really do much, i need someone that can mess with electronics as well.

thanks so much

  • I have used the RV Doctor several times while in Vegas. They come to me when I'm at the Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort. They also have a facility right near the corner of Blue Diamond and the I-15. These guys used to build Monaco's in Oregon and when the market went south, a group opened up the RV Doctor. They know these units backwards and forwards. Cheap, no, reasonable, YES.

I've been to the Cummins facility in north Las Vegas and had good luck.

Ryfan, regarding your Aladdin system, I'm wondering if the 'brightness' button has been turned down on the screen? It could also be that the selection from the button on the console is in the wrong area. Hit the center button to turn on the Aladdin and toggle up and down and left and right to see if you can get to a screen. If it was working before, it may just be in the wrong setting.

    MM.

    thanks for the assiatance.

I actually do have an issue that someone may help with. When I first looked at the Rv the Aladdin system worked and the back up camera and side cameras workeed. Once I bought it and went through the turn over the salesman was messing with it to show me how to operate the radio, since then the aladdin does not work at the driver position (it does work on the unit in the bedroom)and hte cameras dont show up in the driver position they do in the bedroom. I went back and asked him what the heck he did and he had no idea. So here I sit with no back up camera and no aladdin system at the driver seat. I am sure it is something simple but I cant seem to figure it out.
    Thanks Ric

If you don't get any answers here, I'd suggest posting in the Monaco section of IRV2.com. There are many owners will your coach there. My Monaco made coach does not have the alladin system so I have no suggestions. As for coach repairs in Vegas, that is a tough one. I've been doing my own repairs. For house related repairs I would try RV dr. For chassis related items, I wouldn't go to any of the Rv dealers. Depending on what it is, I would go to cummins or Allison directly. Not sure if you have the cummins isx. I believe the Detroit 60 was an option on your year coach.

Why not share some of your items to be fixed on this web and maybe we can help you fix them.
