Remember the EM 50?

This was kind of interesting Why GM Cancelled the 1973-1978 GMC Motorhome

There's an auto repair shop not far from us that's had one of those parked behind the shop for years. Hopefully it belongs to one of the owners/employees and they are slowly working on getting it back on the road.

I could really use a few of the extra options the EM 50 has. Particularly for drivers that can't figure out what a turn signal is, how to merge or the lost art of keeping to the right.

If you haven't already, you ought to see the one they (someone did it) refurbished and modernized at the RV Hall of Fame in Elkhart Indiana. SOMEBODY did a bangup job on that thing. I don't know when that job was done but, it's more modern looking and has more modern features than some of today's '19 models do. I had pictures but, I can't find them. Imagine that. Anyway, it's a seriously nice looking
GMC motorhome.

Great movie! The basic training scenes remind me so much of my basic training at Ft Knox.

They used one of these in the movie Stripes as the EM-50 Urban assault vehicle.
