Removing air bed from Winnebago Adventurer 38Q
2016 with the bed on the slide. I want to replace with a foam. Wondering if anyone has removed one and has advice before I go at it.

We had a different experience with the Sleep Number air mattress. Our '08 Dynasty came with a king air mattress. It was fine at first until it started 'breaking'. Wands went out and replaced by sleep number, then the pump went out and replaced, then the wands went out again (out of warranty now). Then one side of the bed would not stay inflated.
Near St. Louis, MO, I gathered up all of the Sleep Number paraphernalia and threw it into the dumpster. NEVER again will I have motorized mattress. We went to the local bed store and bought a king-size Beauty Rest mattress with a pillow top. Total Heaven.
That mattress was so comfortable that when we sold the Dynasty, I put that mattress on a bed at home and bought a regular RV mattress for the motorhome just to have something there to sell it.
