Has anyone removed their shower doors and replaced them with a shower curtain? I hate, hate, hate those shower doors. Did i say hate? Anyway I have a corner tub/shower in my 40ft. Holiday Rambler and want to tear those things out and put in one of those curved shower rods. Any thoughts? I have looked for a shower rod specific to a corner tub unit and am only finding the residential rods. I am going to buy one tomorrow and see if it fits before tearing out the glass doors. Your experience would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

Why will nobody want a shower curtain? I'm new to my Class A; Is there some benefit to glass doors? It seems to me that the glass doors are noisy, they are horrible to clean the water spots off of, and ugly (my opinion as far as interior design goes). For water spots you might try 'Clean Shower'. Spray it on after showering on the enclosure and also the shower door. It works great.Yes, the doors take some effort in keeping them clean but I agree, taking them off will not be good for resale. Curtains are 'old-fashioned'.

You'll get spots on the door by using soap. Instead, try "body wash", which doesn't contain the product that produces the scum or film left on the door and walls. Sure makes cleaning easier. We use the Kirkland brand from Costco, but I'm sure other brands will work just as well.

x2 on the body wash. I switched from bar soap to body wash and it really helps eliminate the soap scum left on the surround. Even if you use a curtain instead of door, it'll help keep the surround clean. We also use "clean shower" spray after every shower.

I replaced those terrible accordion curtains with shower doors from Lowes.

The first thing we did when we moved into our condo was remove the shower curtains and put in a door. I have no idea why anyone would want a curtain that always wants to wrap around you.

"No one will want a shower curtain"? Well, sorry to admit it I fall into the shower curtain "hall of shame". In fact so does my DW. We don't want doors that restrict arm movement while in the shower.

You can purchase shower curtains at almost every big box retail store in the US. There are Millions of them out there. So, there must be folks out there that like a shower curtain wrap/

There's a great shower rod made just for RVs. It pretty much retracts itself when not in use unlike a curved rod. Check it out:
