Repair in Coburg, or

In Coburg Sept 17 for repair on Holiday Rambler, they told me that I should have water and elect outside to hookup. Anyone been there can shed light on what to expect? This is first time in Coburg. Thanks

  • All their spaces have 50amp service. If you're up in the morning, close your slides, that's their clue you are ready to go. They will get your coach and return it at 4pm so you can use it. If they have to order parts, they will come from Wakarusa by snail truck...:(...There are many covered bridges nearby with two separate driving tours. Otherwise, Coburg/Eugene is pretty boring unless you're a Ducks fan. Do take a trip to Northwest RV, two locations, and walk around their facility. They purchased all of Monaco's inventory when Navistar moved them to Indiana. Take the tour of the Marathon factory across the street. If you need trans service or work done, there is an Allison Dealer right down the street. The Cummins shop across the street was scheduled to move so I'm not sure if they are still there. Good luck on the weather....Dennis

The name of the repair shop ..... is?

    The former Monaco factory

They have lots of parking spaces. They do not have every space supplied with an electrical post.
A service tech will come out of the building and write up a repair sheet. Suggest you go in first to let them know you have arrived. There is a small waiting room for sitting if you want. They usually do not give you an accurate completion time. Make sure you ask them if parts are needed do you have them in stock. There are plenty of eating places within a short driving distance. Coburg has several antique shops. Eugene and Springfield are also a short distance to the south. If you drive south on Coburg Road approx 8 miles there is a Costco. Valley River Center Mall is not very far away.

  • Coburg; has about 20 or 24 sites, known as Camp Monaco, in front of the service center. You show up after 1600 the day before your appointment and they will give you one on a first come first serve basis. Should they be full up there is a large parking lot next door that you can dry camp at. None of the sites have sewer but there is a dump station.
At 0700 on the day of your service someone will knock on your door and take your coach away. If you are there for multiple days they will deliver it back to your same spot at 1600 that day and then the process will repeat the next day until finished.
There is also a nice RV park across the Interstate, I can’t remember the name off the top of my head.
