It appears to me that Camping World doesn't have a stellar reputation according to many RVers, but I would like to ask about one specific Camping World.Can anyone attest to the service quality of work done at the Coburg Oregon Camping World? I would suspect this one might be better than average, at least, due to the fact the there has been so much RV industry in this area and the region is loaded with much higher than average skilled service people. I need to have an air conditioner ordered and installed by these people.Opinions?

Why do you assume they would pay for better than average skilled people?

Are you hoping someone here will say they had a positive or negative experience at that particular CW? Worth a shot in the dark, I suppose. One or two anecdotes does not make a statistically relevant survey, though. To paraphrase the saying, you picks your dealers and you takes your chances.

We have used mobile rv techs 3 times. Very great experience. When an rv tech drives up and has an awesome vehicle and starts to visit with you it will be a clue if he knows anything. chevman

in the dark. I have wrenched on anything and everything that has an engine starting when I was 14yo. I led a shop with 31 mechanics.Graduate of state of california's 4 year apprenticeship program and a

certified welder in TIG, MIG and Stick.

An entry paying job gets entry level mechanics. To criticize some that may be entering the field is uncalled for and rude. BTW. Do some research on the top billionaires that run hugely successful companies

and where they started out.

Camping World, like all big companies, has their corporate culture start at the top and trickle down to all locations. It is their M.O. to say anything to get the customer in and then they forget about you. Read the numerous posts about them holding customers rigs for months before they get to work on them, and then not doing a good job.

Go with the law of large numbers.....you don't see lots of praise for their service.

How do you know who the person is writing the review ? If i was an employee there and trying to protect my job, i would give myself a great review as would my family and friends.

Thank you, Janss. I use Google a lot but did not think to use them for reviews . Will peruse the findings. Still interested in hearing about the Service Dept. experiences of anyone here who has used them.
