Replacement halogen bulbs for a 2003 Travel Supreme

I replaced all the halogen bulbs with LED's, just as bright, much cooler and they use less power. Something like this fit into the existing assembly on my TS:

Yes Sir, replacing them with LEDs can be a bit rewarding in many ways. It all depends on what kind of value you place on certain things. LEDs draw considerably less current. That means house batteries will last a bit longer. LEDs run considerably cooler. That means less heat inside the coach. LEDs last considerably longer than either a Halogen or, regular incandescent bulb. That means cheaper in the long run due to the infrequency of replacement.

It all depends on what's of value to you. If making your house batteries last longer doesn't mean that much to you because you never dry camp and are always on hookups, then, that's of no value to you. If less heat in the interior of the coach is of no value, well, then that's up to you. So, you see what I mean here.

All that's needed if and when you want to delve into the world of LEDs is, what kind of base, what lumens you'd like to end up with, what CCT or, "Color Core Temp" you want to end up with, otherwise known as "Kelvin". That means what actual color you'll have. Some like the Warm white, which is closer to the original bulb and some like the "cool white" which, is a bit of a bluer type, more like Hospital lighting. It's a preference thing.

I had to replace a couple because the glass cracked a few years back and just found them, total replacement, at the local Wal*Mart in the auto section -- was able to find replacements for the interior halogens in the 12 volt garden lights also -- to answer the question on the bulbs you will need the bulb number, might require a magnifying glass to see on the base of the bulb. One other -- expensive source is a Lowe's or Home-depot, they often have a drawer full of specialty bulbs in the lighting section.

Once you find the number. do an Internet search and you will likely be able to get 10 for what you paid for the one at HD.

Sorry I could not ID the exact source but at least you have some options. when I go by the Coach today I'll look to see if I can be of more help.

I use these in my Jayco. Don't know if they are the same as yours, but they fit the halogen fixtures in Jayco's.
