True enough. Still he asked for input, which we offered. My comments are:
1. That Dodge is a poor candidate for diesel transplant recipient. The engine bay is small and short in height. Any diesel would have to be very compact.
2. I've seen several biofueled RVs and they were school bus conversions. Chances are they were already diesel and only retrofitted for the alternate fuel.
3. This touches on cost of project again, but it seems to me that installing a diesel in most gas vehicles would have only a possibility of practicality if the owner already own the diesel, can swap for it, etc.
4. And, if the vehicles are at all modern, involving an ECM/PCM/ECU whatever you call it, you almost have to have or have first pick on the Donor Vehicle. You'll need the electronics, the wiring that connects them etc etc.
