I understand that you want a diesel engine. That you have the means to make your own bio-diesel.
Have you looked into buying a diesel truck and trailer? You will have your living space, plus you will have a daily driver that you can run on the bio-diesel. Or a diesel car and pay someone to deliver a trailer to the site where you want to live?
When we were shopping for a used c in BC 7 years ago, we only came across one diesel in the 100 plus that we looked at. It was about 25% more expensive than what we paid and sold within days. We were not shopping based on fuel and the price of the diesel put it out of our budget.
