Replacing carpet, slide problem?
Would like to hear from anyone, that has replaced carpet with Pergo, allure, or vinyl. Did slides have to be adjusted. I have a 2000, Intruder, raised slide. Will not be replacing carpet under couc...

yes, we removed carpet/pad from slider. was simple. you will need a very sharp box knife and pull out all staples from pad that are stuck on underlayment.
we were fortunate not to have rollers under slide. there are slide bars. at first there were black marks on new allure only at each end of slide. black marks came from a sealant I so crazily put on exterior for water penetration. cleaned marks and put two long rugs in front of slide so when slide lifts to come in, it catches the rugs enough to lift them so not more marks. YEAH!
