The OEM horns on our MH are just two of the standard automobile horns. They have both corroded and failed, they now just sort of "squeak". I plan to replace them. I have checked my owners manual and there is a 20A fuse for the horn so believe there is a horn relay. My budget is about $50. I have read reviews for Bad Boy and other types/brands, these all have mixed reviews, some say great, others are disappointed not loud enough. Would appreciate your suggestions, which one is loudest for the dollars, thanks!

Bad Boys aren't a train horn. There was something on here recently about a law that says they need to be visible.

I like the Hadley horns myself. They mount on the roof of the motorhome and really give a deep throaty blast when you hit the horn button.

Just go to a junkyard and get yourself a pair of 60-70 vintage Cadillac OEM horns. They were plenty loud and can be bought cheap. That's what I used to put on my street rods....Be sure to use a relay.....Dennis

The Stebulus, WOLO, and Bad boy are all good; the old Cadilac 'trumpet booster' horn was my fav for cars but are almost impossible to find now days

You can buy new aftermarket or find some loud OEM horns. I wanted a second set for my last motor home. The roof mounted air horns were not always appropriate. I knew that the Ford Crown Vic horns were very loud and grabbed a set off of a crashed one. They were plenty loud coming from under the hood.
