Replacing TV on Triple E GT29

Got it out with the help from a shop. It was secured in with 4 bolts that were attached to a metal frame. I was able to get the top 2 bolts off from the access panels on either side of the TV but I was stumped after that. The shop apparently ended up taking down the rear part of the cab headliner to get access to the bottom 2 bolts.

Looks like a 32" will fit in quite nicely, a new TV will likely weigh about 1/2 of the Jensen so the industrial strenght frame will be replaced as well.

I'm considering replacing the RCA audio unit, wondering if anyone has swapped theirs out?

I also have a 2010 Regency 29 GT. While I have not attempted to replace the TV, I have made a few other modifications. If you haven't done so, I would suggest you call the Triple E factory and speak to Brad Wall. They have been very good at getting back to me with answer's to my questions. It will probably save you some time and effort.

Since we both have the same RV (and there does not appear to be many of us) I would like to stay in touch with you to discuss any issue's or modifications in the future. Not quite sure how to get you my personal e-mail address but I'll try to figure it it.

Couldn't find any obvious screws other than 3 horizontal screws on each side that attach the side cabinets to the TV cabinet. Need to do a little more poking around tomorrow.

I took a look at the opening where the TV used to be. I notice there is a screw hole at a 45 degree angle at the bottom center of the cavity about 1 inch from the outer edge. I may of had to remove a screw from that hole, I just do not remember.

Thanks for the input, ours is the over cab TV as well. Unfortunately they've extended the side of the cabinet to the ceiling with no clear signs of easy access without pulling and digging stables/pins out. They did put in a 10X8 access panel on both sides of the TV but unfortunately they don't allow access the the rear of the TV. Might try prying things a bit, will likely need to do a little cutting of the cabinet frame anyways.
