I have the 2000 version of your coach. I'm still using the original windshield gasket.
The original windshield gasket has a rain gutter molded into the top edge of the gasket, and this eventually fails. On mine, the top portion leaked but the remainder was in good condition. I've even had one windshield section replaced since my repair with no problems.
When mine started leaking, I simply cut off the rain gutter portion, gently pulled the remaining gasket back from the fiberglass cap, caulked between the gasket and the fiberglass cap, then caulked over the top of the gasket. It's been leak free now for about 4 years.
I don't have the exact name of the caulk, but it came from Home Depot in black, was high quality, and was an elasomeric type. If I find an old tube of it around the house, I'll post again with the exact item.
You could also buy windshield sealant from a glass shop, or use the CR Laurence product for sealing between dual pane windows. ( C.R. LAURENCE 877 CRL Super Spacer Sealant, which is available from Amazon.com. It's about $13.00 per tube, and is black also.)
This will be much cheaper than having a new gasket installed.
