You sound like my wife and me. Our plan is to own our Phoenix Cruiser until we are too old and dangerous to drive it. We bought it new 10 years ago and hope we have at least 25 more years to go. And when we are done with it, I hope it will be in decent shape to recover some money from it....not neglected and junkyard-ready.
Our motor home garage is heated in winter and cool in summer being half below grade & under the house. It has been the key for vehicle preservation. We owned our first motor home
SEEN HERE for 24 years. We sold it only to get something more complete. That old Toyota Mirage, we recovered 62% of the original purchase price because it was in great shape from being garage kept.....and me taking good care of it too.
It is funny that stepping inside our 10 year old Phoenix Cruiser, it still smells new inside. It is amazing what a controlled environment does for a vehicle.
