Be sure you can fit the new one through the door of the coach.
You know, I've been kicking around going to a motorhome and I have been wondering just how they get some of these fridges into the coach or how you'd replace one.
I put mine in through the front window. Had to change it because of a crack. The glass guys passed it through to Angela and I. Too easy. :)
What size fridge? I've been looking at Thors and they have full sized fridges in them. I've asked a couple of dealers how it would be done and they seemed astonished that I'd consider such a scenario.
Apparently I'm the only person int eh history of the world who has ever had a fridge break.
A 22 foot whirlpool. And yes we dry camp, a lot. If you are going to dry camp though do it right and add appropriate battery and solar facility. The reason some dealers are surprised is that many are not aware of how little power new fridges use in comparison to what they did even 10 years ago. Most think you are chasing it down the road with an extension cord. Not there fault, they are not appliance sales people. My dealer was the same, and I work here. :)
Good luck. - Don_McLExploreri assured them it would fit

They claim the refer rectifies the incoming 120 AC to DC voltage negating the need for a pure sine power supply. Found this out after spending $800 on a Magnum PSW. Hope this helps. I installed a Samsung 24.5 cu ft counter depth in place of a 1200 LRIM. PM me if you have any questions.
Blessings KDK - John_S_Explorer IIi also pulled out the Propane line and capped it off at the tank so it is gone now. It is one of the best ease of living upgrades we have made in a while. We put in a dining bar too and that is great and adds to the home feel. Yes I have three 8 Ds in the coach but it would run on less too. I have friends with one 8 d and it is working for them as well as three 4ds

That's strange because my New Cardinal 5th wheel came with a 23 cubic foot side by side Frigidaire and it covered by a three year warranty. My microwave is also a Frigidaire. I called Frigidaire and they told me that their was no problem with it being in an RV as far as warranty was concerened.
Yes there is its not a normal installation you will most likley have to pull it out for some one to work on it. If you ever have a problem you will need to let them know its installed in an rv. You may go thru a couple of authorized servicers before you get one to come out. - JR45Explorer

Well I have been having problems with my Not-So-Cold so I ordered my 197 Samsung from Best Buy while on sale,$420 off will take a month to get plus I just ordered today the Magnum 2812 pure sine wave inverter and the ME-RC50 Remote all with Free Shipping. Doing it right the first time may cost less down the road.

Why are the pipes all rusted? I do not believe I have seen any rust on ours.
Did you pull all the insulation off the pipe. The difference in temperature may cause the pipes to sweat then they rust, then it starts cracking and falls apart, don't know not my coach. I want to sleep at night without thinking about a fire caused by a NOT-SO-Cold piece of junk.
